Life Actuary - Day Rate Contract - 1-5 years PQE - Reporting

Oliver James supporting a major Life Insurance client who wish to engage a Life Actuarial contractor to support their IFRS 17 project

You will be supporting IFRS 17 implementation within the internal reinsurance business unit. This is a lucrative offer with real potential to gain hands on experience in reinsurance/IFRS 17

Required Experience :

• Qualified Actuary with 2-5 years PQE or equivalent (more experience welcomed)
• Significant Financial Reporting (Solvency II, IFRS) experience is highly desirable.
• Good communication skills, commercial awareness and time management
• IFRS 17 knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory. Reinsurance experience is not required.

Rate: £850-950 per day

Status: Inside IR35 (Engagement though Umbrella company)

Duration: 6 month initial contract with extensions expected to end of 2022

Start Date: ASAP, ideally before end of November. 1 month notice can be accommodated.

Work Location: A couple of days on-site in a regional office would be appreciated, however flexible/remote working is acceptable.
