Job Details
An insurer is looking for a qualified actuary to come in and take point on the internal Optimisation where you will be the one making the big decisions. The ideal candidate will have very strong actuarial and commercial expertise as you’ll be working with senior underwriters, pricing and the capital team to help manage the overall portfolio taking account of profitability and capital for the syndicate.
The output of the optimisation team will direct the business strategy, the Portfolio Optimisation Lead will be responsible to liaising with stakeholders across the business to discuss their findings and advice on suitable actions. They're happy to consider someone who’s looking for a step up but you don’t need to be a manager, you do need to be someone who can lead from the front and be hands on.
