pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to find a senior risk contractor for a 7 month period.

Working within a global insurer, the purpose of the role is to oversee a team of 7 Actuaries/students who are responsible for:

*  Group-wide economic capital modelling methodology standards

*  Market risk modelling methodology and assumptions

*  Oversight of business unit risk

*  Maintaining and developing the capital modelling engines

*  Production of group RSG files.

The successful candidate will distribute work, oversee delivery, ensure quality of output and support the professional development of the team.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced qualified Actuary or experienced non-qualified Actuary with a track record leading teams and a background in risk and capital modelling. The role can be paid on a daily rate or a fixed term contract with pro-rata'd bonus and benefits.
