Job Details
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified actuary to join a well-established pricing team at a Lloyd's managing agency.
Working on syndicate business, which spans lines such as marine, energy, PI, FI, A&H and reinsurance; your duties will include case pricing and model development, as well as ongoing process and data improvement.
This is a team that is close-knit and as such you will learn directly from experience, qualified pricing actuaries who have considerable Lloyd's market experience. Not only will you gain this exposure, but you will also have the opportunity to build your own relationships with underwriters, providing assistance and advice.
This opportunity is open to applicants from a Lloyd's/London market background or with personal/small commercial lines experience. This could be from within a pricing, reserving or capital modelling role. Pricing exposure would be advantageous but most important is the desire to learn and develop the skills in this unique insurance market, and this organisation will give you all the support you need to succeed.
