Fairbank Partners seek an Actuarial Analyst that will provide Reserving and Reporting support across our clients managed syndicates, which include aviation, energy, marine, casualty, property and treaty business. This includes the company in Ireland.
The role also contribute to the development and application of technical actuarial models and methods, to the process of continuous improvement within the team and provides actuarial expertise and support on actuarial related projects.
The main responsibilities involve in assisting with quarterly reserve reviews, this will include the provision and review of both year of account, annually accounted and Solvency II figures on a regular basis, and the maintenance of the appropriate models. The individual will support the primary review to validate and communicate all key assumptions, results and uncertainties to key actuarial and underwriting individuals when presenting estimates as well as highlighting areas for improvement.
You'll help produce, develop and enhance exhibits and reports to the Board and its Committees , as well as provide actuarial input into the planning process.
To be considered, we are looking for a GI Actuarial student making progress with the exams and someone who has good knowledge of Excel and other good IT skills including knowledge of VBA and Access (not essential).
