Senior Actuarial Analyst, Leading Specialty Insurance Group

Fairbank Partners are working with a leading specialty insurance group who seek a Senior Actuarial Analyst with experience across P&C Reserving and SII TP's. 

Reporting into the Senior Reserving Actuary to support the UK actuarial function in all aspects of the reserving process including the evaluation of Solvency II technical provisions.

The key objectives are 

• Quarterly reviews of reserves in respect of P&C business written, including Financial Lines, Energy, Marine, Property, Treaty, Accident & Health, Credit, Surety, Professional Indemnity and Liability lines.
• Delivery of Solvency II technical provisions and related regulatory/Lloyd’s returns.

To be considered for the role, we are looking for someone making good progress towards qualification as an FIA, or recently qualified.

You will need a minimum of 3 years core reserving experience involving practical application of actuarial methods and statistical techniques used in reserving of London Market P&C lines, as well as a commercial awareness and knowledge of industry changes, such as market trends and emerging issues.
