Job Details

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced risk or capital actuary to take the lead on financial risk matters for this high-performing Lloyd's/London market organisation.

Reporting into the CRO, you will set the strategic direction of the organisation in the area of financial risk and provide insight to senior management.

You will be integral to the evolution of the risk function with key responsibilities included setting the financial risk framework, developing the financial risk appetite, establishing the internal model validation framework, contributing to the ORSA and getting involved in new projects such as ESG and climate change risk.  These projects will be conducted enterprise wide and you will have opportunities to play a part in wider ERM initiatives too.

You will have prior experience of working in an ERM or capital team and want to take that next step in your career.  Ideally a qualified actuary and have a track record of developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Company

Actuaries have some of the brightest minds on the planet. Their ability to calculate risk and future events gives them a unique skill set which is in high demand by employers.

The Actuarial desk at Arthur Recruitment connects Actuaries to their future employers. We are building our network within The UK Insurance Market and will be emailing market news, jobs and interviews with some of the leading actuaries in the market.
