Job Details
pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to find an Actuarial student/nearly/newly qualified Actuary to join a leading reinsurer.
The key responsibilities of the role will be:
* Contribution to the continued transformation to a best in class actuarial department. This will involve using modern data tools to actively implement process improvements and efficiencies across actuarial modelling, data and reporting processes
* Participate in the regular IFRS reporting work with specific responsibility for reviewing the protection data and model points and ensuring new business is modelled correctly in Prophet each quarter
The ideal candidate will be an Actuarial student making good progress through the actuarial exams or those that are close to qualifying or have recently qualified. You will have an interest in automation, data science and the delivery of efficiencies through the use of data solutions.
