Job Details
pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have a requirement for a Data Scientist to join a global Reinsurer.
The role will support the Longevity Pricing team who are responsible for the return of all tendering and will cover the following duties:
* Development of team plan on data
* Develop and maintain industry leading pricing tools such as stochastic models and predictive models
* Close liaison and involvement with research and data analytics team
* Driving consistency of approach in Pricing
The ideal candidate can be a nearly/newly or qualified Actuary or those who have the equivalent statistical, data science or other quantitative qualification. Previous Life insurance experience would be highly desirable but strong experience with IT, programming and statistics is essential.
