Our client is seeking a talented individual with proven defined benefit actuarial analyst experience to be responsible for carrying out and/or checking process-based work and contributing to improving the efficiency of these processes.

You will liaise with internal client teams to perform and/or check all necessary data processing, calculation and statutory reporting work for the Company’s DB pension scheme clients.

You will also review scheme information, i.e. benefit summary, benefit changes, previous valuation data etc and discuss anomalies with client teams.

In addition, you will use the Firm’s bespoke valuation systems to perform and/or check actuarial valuations and perform individual and global checks on the output.

With an understanding of the legislative framework and structure of defined benefit pension schemes, the successful candidate will additionally possess good/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar package (eg VBA).

This role would suit a part-qualified actuary no longer studying for the exams and CAA study support is on offer.
