A well-known life insurance organisation is seeking a qualified actuary to join their growing Dublin based team in a Valuations Actuary role. This is an fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a variety of business areas and diversify a wide range of professional skills.
About the role
The Valuations Actuary will join the companies Actuarial Function team and will report directly to the Deputy Head of Actuarial Function. This role will involve working on a variety of projects across a range of teams.
Duties of the Valuations Actuary role will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the Actuarial Reporting and Modelling managers on a variety of tasks and projects including quarterly valuations, solvency monitoring and ORSA.
- Supporting the Reinsurance and Group Reporting managers on various reinsurance and group reporting tasks.
- Supporting the IFRS17 project and team.
Actuarial skills required
The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary from a life background with at least 5 years’ experience or a newly/nearly qualified actuary with relevant skills and experience in reporting.
Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills are essential.
