Personal Lines Actuary - Full Flexible Working

Fairbank Partners are looking for a Qualified or near Qualified GI Actuary with either Personal Lines, Commercial Lines or a Lloyds London Market background in Reserving or Pricing for a client who is prepared to let you work almost fully remote from anywhere in the UK. * (one day a week in either of two offices, either London or Leeds). 

• Someone who can grow with the firm
• Use the data, standard actuarial methods and assumptions to independently project Reserves
• Have a solid technical base, primarily in either Reserving or Pricing
• Be able to explain technical aspects to non technical people
• Know the key Reserving methods, both old and new
• Act as an expert in the team
• Manage 1 intern who starts in July, so a chance to teach and have management responsibility
• Support Year end Audit, Audit Standard Formula and Capital requirements
• Support transactions for M&A activity 
• Involvement in preparing and delivering tenders
• Open to those from Pricing who want to do some Reserving
• Will sponsor Tier 2 visas for those already in the UK
• 2 stage interview process
