Principal Consultant (Partner track)

I have been exclusively mandated to hire a Principal Actuary for a leading actuarial consulting firm for their life insurance practice. There is a flexibility about which office location across the UK you wish to be based from but some travel and time spent on-site with clients will be expected (albeit post Covid the amount of time required on-site is anticipated to be far less than it would have previously been). This would best suit an ambitious and senior Actuary with prior consulting (and business development) experience.

This will be a unique opportunity that should, for the right individual, present a relatively quick pathway to becoming a Partner. You will be an ambitious individual who has a good network and willingness to tap into that (and to grow it further). In terms of technical skills, it would be highly desirable to have some expertise around internal capital models (and particularly around IM and MMC applications) in addition to other marketable skills.

You will be given the opportunity to recruit individuals to support work that you are winning and to utilise the Consultants within the business to ensure that projects won are delivered on.

Successful delivery on the agreed targets should offer a pathway to becoming an equity Partner within 2-3 years.
