Senior Reinsurance Actuary- Credit and Political Risk

Interested in gaining broader market experience and gaining reserving and capital experience?

Fairbank Partners are working with a market- leading insurer to find a Senior Actuary to join their Specialty Reinsurance arm. This is a really strategic opportunity and it will be a business partner opportunity with large focus on Credit and Political Risk but with exposure to other lines such as Cyber and Crisis Management. The role reports to the Chief Actuary and has a direct report.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Working closely with underwriters
• Helping to develop your direct report and manage them on a daily basis
• Champion the Credit business lines within the company
• Commercial responsibilities including business partnering
• Development of pricing models

This would be the perfect opportunity for a Qualified Actuary with c. 3+ years' post qualification experience. You will have a UK pricing background (General Re/Insurance) and ideally specialty lines experience (credit risk/ political risk or surety preferred).
