Capital Modelling Actuary, Nearly/Newly - You will lead the model development project

The role will support the Head of Capital in developing and maintaining the internal SCR model including the required Lloyd’s reporting and documentation. As a project leader, the role will contribute to management of junior members of the team on a day to day basis, including the mentoring of actuarial students through actuarial exams.

You will lead the capital model development projects in line with model development plan and manage risk parameterisation projects across all risk categories. Part and parcel of the role also includes model update processes for capital calculation, including preparation of key deliverables for regulatory submission along with supporting documentation.

Take a lead role in the first line of validation testing and lead the model use projects beyond the Lloyd’s submission including portfolio analyses, reinsurance analyses, capital allocation and other regulatory returns.

Suited to a nearly/newly qualified actuary or someone with relevant actuarial experience. Experience of capital modelling and model validation.  ReMetrica experience preferred but not essential.
