Investment Strategist

Arthur Financial have partnered with one of leaders in their field from across the insurance industry to hire an Investment Strategist to take responsibility on specialist investment activities within the Investment Team and to support the team’s overall investment strategy including due diligence reviews on related private equity investments across the insurance and financial services sector.

The incumbent would report directly to the Head of Investment. You will establish and lead private equity investments within the business while maintaining an appropriate specialist investment strategy which aligns with the function’s overall strategic objectives and risk appetite.
You will be accountable for identifying and performing due diligence reviews of potential investments. It will be essential that you work closely with other functional areas such as financial market risk, underwriting and portfolio optimization regarding both diligence reviews and post deal monitoring.

It is expected that the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in an investment-related area, ideally with private equity.  You will have experience leading private equity due diligence initiatives, along with experience in an investment strategy, or related, role within an insurance company is highly desirable.
