Job Details

We are working with a leading insurance firm on this newly-created Head of Casualty Exposure Management position based in their York offices.

Leading a team of 4, you will have the remit of driving the risk management strategy for all Casualty lines of business, accounting for 50% of the Group’s net premium base. Whilst there has been investment into this area already and there are initial frameworks in place, the function continues to offer significant scope for further development moving forward.

In addition to this long-term development of casualty analytics, you will also be responsible for external horizon scanning, establishing early warning indicators and working with senior stakeholders across the business to identify and mitigate casualty risks.

Given the class-specific focus of this role, an in depth understanding of casualty classes of business will be essential however your prior background can be open with our client welcoming applications from a variety of fields including actuarial, exposure management, claims, underwriting and broking.
