Job Details

Oliver James have been engaged with a bulk annuities firm in London in their search for a part qualified actuary.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in Life insurance coupled with knowledge of Solvency II.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a high calibre business with an exciting product range. The role offers full study support and home working.

Responsibilities: The role sits in specialist team between the Reporting and Business Planning teams. You will be responsible for bringing together Financial Reports and putting together reporting packs to senior management and leadership. The role is very varied and you will have the opportunity to work on a number of projects so you should be comfortable taking on a range of tasks.

Experience

  • Part Qualified with a view to completing exams in the next 1-3 years
  • Financial Reporting background - specifically covering Solvency II
  • Keen interest in innovation and process improvement
  • Strong appetite to build relationships
