Job Details
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain the team's reputation by managing an existing portfolio of clients who are mainly large accounts and mid-sized companies
- Set up and renew policies for international programs
- Organise meeting with clients and brokers
- Develop the portfolio inline with the company's ambitious growth plans by searching for and carrying out new business in compliance with underwriting guidelines
- Mentor and support the development of Underwriting Assistants
- Keeping updated with relevant market trends on a regular basis
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in property underwriting in insurance
- Experience working on international programs is highly desirable
- Good knowledge of industrial risks and their specificities
- Effective negotiator and communicator
- Excellent commercial and relationship-building skills
- Decision-making skills
- Team player who encourages knowledge sharing
- Fluent in French and English
