Actuarial Analyst - IFRS17

A leading general insurer is looking for a Part-Qualified or Qualified Actuary to join them on their P&C Actuarial Reserving Team to work on their IFRS17 Actuarial Project.

You will work directly with the Lead Actuary, as well as the wider reserving team, to develop and bring insights to senior stakeholders.

This role will involve reviewing actuarial processes, identifying risk, and testing new systems within the business, so having an academic background in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, or other relevant sciences is beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have be confident in their abilities to constructively challenge the direction of the team and provide support to the wider organisation. Knowledge in R and SQL programming skills is desirable.
