BPA Actuary (London or Norwich)

Reputable insurer seeking a BPA Actuary to join their BPA Operations team, responsible for the seamless implementation of new BPA deals and the provision of ongoing services to BPA customers | Norwich 1-2 days per week (National or remote)

Oliver James are working with a large and reputable insurer in their search for a BPA Actuary to join their BPA Operations team in Norwich. The successful candidate would be required to travel to our Norwich office 1-2 each week but can be based anywhere.

Within this role you will review the calculations of final premiums ensuring consistency with the terms of the BPA deal, in addition to the review and sign off of valuations of buy-in contracts for trustee and corporate accounting disclosures. You will calculate and review ongoing administration factors to ensure consistency with current market conditions and current pricing terms.

Role requirements:

• A qualified actuary
• A strong knowledge of defined benefit pensions
• Extensive experience of checking actuarial valuations and transfer values
