Senior Pricing Lead - 12-18 month FTC

Salary – “Competitive plus great benefits” 

We are looking for highly experienced insurance pricing professionals to lead the UK delivery of Price as part of the Allianz Global commercial lines transformation programme for Property & Casualty and Large Fleet respectively.

The ideal person will be based in the South / London s travelling to our Guildford Head Office will be required. This is a project related role so is available initially on an FTC basis, but with the potential for a permanent position at the end.

In these exciting new roles you will drive the UK pricing team’s involvement, interacting with other international Allianz pricing teams while being a core member of the UK’s cross functional programme team (composed of underwriting, claims, distribution and IT experts).

This is a hands on role. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the Pricing teams input and requirements to the programme, interacting with senior stakeholders from multiple areas. In conjunction you will also oversee and have hands on involvement in the design/build of the live pricing environment, including Radar Live and statistical model development, guiding other members of the UK pricing team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead UK pricing input to the end-to-end solution design (i.e. data, analytics, pricing tool, portfolio management capabilities)
  • Implementing new technical pricing models in the new IT platform and establishing a market leading deployment capability (i.e. embedding Radar Live operating processes).
  • Representing the UK pricing area in a cross functional, agile team.
  • Formulating and co-ordinating the UK’s response to proposals.
  • Communicating to senior UK and global stakeholders (technical and non-technical) recommendations and the impact of different options

Skills and Experience:

  • To be a success in this role, you will have significant experience as a general insurance pricing professional with the following experiences:
  • Experience leading pricing projects.
  • Experience delivering pricing system builds.
  • High level Willis Towers Watson Radar and Emblem skills (Radar Live an advantage).
  • Working on significant cross team/department projects to achieve a common goal (agile methodologies an advantage).
  • Understanding of UK Commercial Lines insurance and product architecture.
  • Knowledge of statistical model development and build requirements, including GLM’s and credibility methods.
  • Educated to degree level in a numerate discipline or having equivalent experience.
  • Appropriate professional qualifications preferred such as Actuarial and / or CII.
