Job Details
An international reinsurance broker is seeking a part-nearly qualified actuary to join their actuarial team in London.
Working on Middle East and North African P&C business, you will have client exposure from the outset by attending meetings with brokers. You will gain in-depth knowledge of reinsurance structures by providing experience and exposure rating, modelling and data analytics. There will also be regular portfolio analysis tasks and the development of simple capital models to assess the impact of reinsurance on clients' capital positions. There will also be additional duties to enhance client relationships such as involvement in strategic advice.
Ideally you will have prior non-life pricing experience (direct or reinsurance) and be making good progress with the actuarial exams. French language skills would be advantageous.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you can test both your technical and commercial skills.
