Assistant Manager- Reserving

A fantastic Assistant Reserving Manager opportunity has arisen with a large London Market insurer based in London. 

Working across lines of business including Marine and Energy, you will support the Reserving Manager on all things Reserving including Solvency II, whilst managing the work of at least 1 member of the team. The role also involves working with senior stakeholders so you will be getting involved in some of the important conversations and gaining exposure to the business, developing commercial ability.

Although the focus will be on reserving, you also will be working with stakeholders across pricing and capital, so you can gain some exposure to these areas and have an input into the work of other teams, gaining a breadth of experience.

Both the team and the wider company really focus on development, promoting internally and supporting moves across the business so you will never feel 'stuck'.

You will be FIA Qualified Actuary with 5 years'+ experience in General Insurance reserving. Regulatory or consulting background would be advantageous. Please note sponsorship cannot be provided.
