Job Details
pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to find a Financial Reporting manager on behalf of a FTSE100 life insurer/asset manager.
The Actuarial manager role sits within the Pillar 3 and Solvency monitoring team who are responsible for the production of Pillar 3 financial disclosures as well as estimates of the group's solvency position. More in-depth the role will involve:
* Leading a team of financial professionals in the delivery of a range of financial reporting and business management metrics
* Responsibility for the production of quarterly and annual QRT's
* Maintenance of high quality management information
* Involvement within IFRS17 project
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Actuary with strong financial reporting experience (Solvency II, IFRS etc) and the ability to lead a team. This role is also available to those looking for management experience or a nearly qualified Actuary who is looking to progress. The role can be based in either London, Edinburgh or Scotland.
