Our client, a major insurer, has an exciting career development opportunity for a part-qualified non-life actuary with reserving experience to assist with the end-to-end quarterly Solvency II Technical Provisions process for the UK, from the data to reporting stage.

Supporting the Reserve Reviews across Motor, Van and Household products, you will also play a key role in the Reserving team’s input into the wider Group Finance team’s IFRS17 implementation.

You will additionally provide flexible support to ongoing projects within the Reserving team, such as moving to new data systems and developing aspects of the reserving process.

With a good understanding of external motor market developments, the successful candidate will possess excellent project management and time management skills.

Personal lines experience is preferred, as is good knowledge of Solvency II, including technical provisions.

An excellent opportunity to take the next step on your career ladder within a genuine market leader.

Experience of VBA SAS and using RESQ software an advantage.
