Corporate Consulting move into Reinsurance

pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search.  We have been asked to find a qualified corporate pensions consultant who would be interested in moving into life reinsurance.

Our client is a London based reinsurer who have a vacancy to work within the Longevity business development team.

The role has four main responsibilities:

1.  Input into business strategy (ie what markets, territories)

2.  Maintenance and strengthening of Insurance relationships

3.  Input into commercial negotiations

4.  Technical Actuarial (ie oversight of Longevity Pricing, risk based capital etc).

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Actuary with corporate pensions consulting experience.  Whilst Longevity or De-risking experience would be desirable, all aspects of the role, including Longevity, can be taught.  Essentially our client is looking for the right mindset and attitude.
