Data Scientist (Actuarial)

The actuarial team in a growing Lloyd's Insurer is looking for a Data Scientist to join their Actuarial team.

If you are looking to join an innovative and technologically driven team, this is the right role for you! You will be responsible for monitoring the portfolio and providing analysis, with a focus in improving their underwriting performance and use of data.

We are looking for people with strong programming and coding in Python, R and /or VBA. You will help with the traditional work but main focus will be looking at their insurertech type business - they have got lots of external insurance data and now need people that can take this data and use it in meaningful ways for the business.
