Job Details
A leading Lloyd's/London market insurer is seeking an experienced reserving actuary to manage a team of analysts across a number of specialty business lines.
You will motivate and develop a team of actuarial analysts to help them achieve both the company and their individual objectives. There is the responsibility for reserve results as well as regular analysis on actual vs. expected to deliver; alongside the post reserving processes.
There will be input into the business planning process, model parameterisation with the capital team and portfolio analysis on a project basis.
Ideally you will be a qualified actuary (or similar experience) with prior non-life reserving experience. Exposure to commercial lines business would be advantageous. This role could suit someone stepping up to their first people management position or those who already have this experience and would like a change.
The role can be based in either Leeds or London withn regular home-working too.
