Reserving Manager

Goodman Masson are currently recruiting for a prestigious Health Insurance business, who are looking for a Reserving Manager to join their team.

The team are currently working on several interesting actuarial projects, the key focus on implementing ResQ as a stepping-stone for IFRS17. The Reserving Manager plays a key role as technical lead for IFRS17, ensuring the design, build and testing is successful and signed off correctly. You will report to the P&C actuary with the support of two direct reports and the wider actuarial function.

You will also get involved in other actuarial projects, whilst leading the claims reserve reporting and supporting the team with forecasting and strategic planning for the future.

The ideal candidate will have reserving experience working in either Health or General insurance, and experience managing the workflow of direct reports.

If you are still studying and progressing through the actuarial exams you will receive full study support. There is also significant flexibility to work from home after restrictions are eased.
