Head of Pricing, Hong Kong market (Actuary)

A well known and growing reinsurance business is looking for a impressive pricing and product development actuary to join their Hong Kong business to head up their Pricing team.

In this role you will be responsible for leading a small team of pricing actuaries to;

- Develop new products for a range of product lines such as Critical Illness, Medical reimbursement, HNW and Old age product propositions.

- Pricing of new and renewed products and deliver quotations on time

- Develop and maintain the technical pricing bases and ensure the business conform with its global life client rates

- Advise on client marketing including discussion on maintenance and pricing technicalities

- Monitor and manage the capital requirements / develop capital solutions for clients

- Research and develop analysis to support the pricing basis and aid product development

We are looking for;

- Qualified Actuary (FIA, FSA, FIAA)

- 10-15+ years of experience in the life/health insurance field

- Experience in hands on pricing and product development in the Hong Kong market

- reinsurance experience in beneficial but not necessary

- Strong communication skills - able to interact with internal stakeholders and external clients
