Retail Pricing and Machine Learning

This role is a hybrid position, a mix of Insurance Pricing and Machine Learning/Data Science. Suited to either an Actuarial student or someone who is not studying. 

The role supports the European Pricing team . The team is responsible for setting the customer pricing basis for home, motor and valuable articles covers and for monitoring on-going pricing adequacy.

You will be interacting regularly with the analytics team; reviewing technical pricing models from a business standpoint.

The person will specifically come from a retail/personal lines background, and there’s still a focus on needing to recruit someone that is technically sound, run and understand pricing models; however this role would encompass more of a business partnering role to have to face off to other business areas, such as Claims, Operations, Finance etc. Therefore, communication is key and much more important than an individual that just wants to deal with data and numbers for majority of their time.
