Our client is seeking a qualified life actuary to provide support in assessing potential transactions to improve the capital position of the Group.

You will carry out the necessary modelling to assess the material from external parties to explore potential capital transactions.

You will also assess how a transaction could be structured to provide a benefit to the Group

In addition, you will complete impact assessments on a range of financial bases, including Solvency II and IFRS.

With technically strong modelling and coding background, the successful candidate will possess experience of Solvency II as applied to UK life insurers.

Previous experience of statistical and stochastic models and or programming languages would be an advantage.
