Job Details
Fantastic opportunity for a reserving analyst / actuary to take ownership of the reserving process and get involved with wider business strategy across a variety areas such as business planning, underwriting strategy, outwards reinsurance etc as well as capital and pricing. You will be joining a small team of two and will take complete ownership of the reserving therefore it is likely that you will be already working in an in-house reserving role with a London market company / Lloyd's syndicate. The reserving is set up to a functional level so there is scope to make improvements which will involve working closely with the underwriters and finance. As the team is relatively small there is scope to get involved in far wider areas beyond traditional actuarial work. Our client is seeking an ambitious, self-starter who is willing to give tasks a go first and who will not need to be closely managed. You will ideally be close to qualifying and be looking to join a business where you will be extremely valued with fantastic exposure to senior stakeholders. You must be a team player.
