Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary - Niche Boutique Consultancy

I am recruiting for a unique opportunity to join a specialist boutique consultancy in the North of England. You will be directly working with an experienced Director who is very keen to teach and develop your skills and experience in a niche and specialist area of DB consulting.

If you are keen to continue your career in pensions but would like to do something outside of traditional trustee consulting, and to join a small firm where you will play a far more important role and learn something new, this could be the ideal role. Candidates will be based anywhere in the North of England, with flexible working and significant contact with an exceptional Director.

You will have a background in pensions consulting, and will be recently qualified or very close to qualifying, perhaps on track to sit your final exams this year.

The nature of the work will be corporate advice, and also lots of de-risking advice and risk settlement. Candidates with a trustee background wishing to gain corporate experience will definitely be considered, as well as those with a corporate background looking to become more specialised and far closer to the clients you are working for.
