Reinsurance Pricing Manager

An international reinsurer is seeking a Pricing Manager to lead a small team in their London office. 

Working closely with other international offices and developing strong relationships with underwriters in London particularly, this role will provide the opportunity to work across property, casualty and specialty reinsurance risks.  

This includes areas of work such as experience and exposure rating, pricing model development, performance analysis, input into Retro purchase and involvement in pricing strategy.  There will also be exposure to capital analysis to help with pricing and the impact deals will have on solvency. You will manage at least one actuarial analyst where you will delegate work and coach them on a range of duties. 

You will also have the opportunity to deal with brokers and provide challenge on reinsurance structures as well as be involved in key internal groups such as the pricing and underwriting committees. 

This role could be taken up by someone in a reinsurance actuarial position wanting to make the step up to manager level.  This could be from a pricing, reserving or capital background as any (or all) of this experience is valued highly in this role.
