An excellent opportunity paying a competative salary, my client is looking for an Actuarial IFRS17 lead for a 12mFTC
You will:
- Act as IFRS 17 Actuarial workstream lead
- Take responsibility for delivery of materials to support the project.
- Assist to escalate issues appropriately to the project manager as needed.
- Support in project plan for Actuarial IFRS 17 work and produce supportable human resourcing requirements.
- Help identify the key actuarial software requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for the Actuarial project team including external parties and appropriately direct communications as necessary.
- Maintain all Actuarial documentation and the shared file site for the project.
To be considered you must be UK based and have the following
- Qualified Actuary or equivalent with non-life insurance / reinsurance experience.
- An extensive knowledge of IFRS 17 and the Actuarial challenges.
OR experience in one or more of these areas:
- IFRS 17
- Solvency II
- Financial reporting;
- Capital and risk management
- Other new regulatory challenges where rules need to be interpreted
- Project experience ideally in insurance/ reinsurance in a fast-paced environment.
