Actuarial Analyst - GI Capital Modelling

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified actuary to join their capital modelling team where you will support the provision of accurate and timely SCR and capital related figures.

In this key role, you will assist with the parameterisation and validation of the IM and associated documentation, undertaking data analysis and cleansing; updating and supporting the communication and producing of documentation on model changes; and developing understanding of the internal model and why changes are being made and planned. 

You will also support the work of the capital modelling team, including running the model, updating inputs, providing outputs and documentation (including updating reports).

In addition, you will use and suggest updates to supporting documentation in particular for processes whilst carrying out validation analyses as needed, assisting with the resolution of validation issues identified.

Developing detailed knowledge of actuarial methods and techniques, and the ability to apply them in practice, the successful candidate will possess a good working knowledge of statistical methods.

Capital actuarial experience is desirable.
