IFRS 17 - Life Actuary - Day rate contract

Leading Insurance client requires multiple Actuarial contractors to join their IFRS 17 project team over the next few months.

Oliver James are representing a leading Life Insurance client who are looking to engage several actuarial contractors to join their IFRS17 project team.

The ideal contractor will be an Actuary (qualified or part-qualified) with previous IFRS17 experience, however strong Solvency II or relevant project experience within Life Insurance will be considered.

Irish, UK or EU market experience is highly desirable.

There are both senior methodology roles and more technical implementation positions available.

Location: Remote working from home - contractor must be based in EU or UK.

Start: January/Feb 2021 (ideally)

Duration: 6 month contract (initial). Intention to extend.

Day Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Experience:

• Life Actuary or Actuarial experience in a Life insurance environment
• IFRS 17 experience or knowledge is highly desirable
• Good experience in financial reporting methodology
• Strong communication skills - able to work with non-actuaries and stakeholders
• Experience working in a project role would be beneficial
