Corporate Actuary

Senior Actuary required by a well-known multinational insurer in Dublin city. This is a unique opportunity for a qualified non-life actuary who enjoys complex and interesting work. This organisation offers flexible working. 

About the Position

The senior reserving actuary will join the corporate actuarial team and will work with a team of like-minded senior actuaries. The company is known for its interesting and diverse work. If you are an actuary who is interested in exploring new ways of doing things, then this is the position for you. 

Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to): 

• Support the delivery and management of actuarial function requirements  
• Provide insight and recommendations on key areas such as reserving, SII technical provisions, and forecasting 
• Provide support in the analysis and implementation of business practices within the actuarial function 
• Involvement in various projects within the corporate team 

Actuarial Skills Required

The organisation is looking for a qualified non-life actuary with strong solvency II experience. You should be confident to work independently at a senior level within this team, whilst always having others to bounce ideas off and a central point for advice. Experience with ResQ and Excel Add-in is desirable.
