Longevity Actuary - Life

Our client is seeking a technically astute, qualified commercial life actuary to take the lead on the proposition development of its longevity market offering.

In this key role, you will own the identification of, and basis development for, attractive international longevity markets, identifying areas for future new business opportunities.

You will also lead on the production of bases (base table, mortality improvements, marriage assumptions and metrics) for attractive international markets.

In addition, you will research and engage with clients to identify new business opportunities within the UK market whilst implementing proposition developments into the pricing framework and tools.

With prior experience in basis setting and proposition development work, the successful candidate will ideally possess an excellent understanding of DB de-risking offerings in the market.

Project management and leadership skills desirable.
