Capital Modelling Manager

A leading Lloyd's and London market insurance business is seeking an experienced capital actuary to take on the role of manager in their influential capital modelling team. 

Working closely with the Head of Capital Modelling, you will manage a team of analysts across all areas of work which includes building new sections of the model, ongoing maintenance, model runs, reporting and assisting the risk management function with areas such as validation.

 There is a focus on developing the team and the ability to motivate, train and designate work is key.  You will also have the ability to present to a number of committees and deputise for the head of capital as required. 

This is an excellent stepping stone to the head of capital level as well as an opportunity to take on a role that will challenge your technical and softer skills. Prior capital modelling experience in a general insurance setting is required.
