Senior Investment Consultant (Local Government)

One of the UK's leading actuarial and investment consultancies, employing over 900 members of staff across the UK, are seeking an FIA/CFA qualified candidate to join them as a Senior Investment Consultant with a focus on Local Government Pension Schemes

Oliver James are working with a leading pensions actuarial and investment consultancy seeking a qualified CFA/FIA candidate to join them as a Senior Investment Consultant in London, Birmingham, Edinburgh or Glasgow.

This consultancy currently advises on over £150 billion of assets over a diverse client base, spanning across corporate and trustee bodies across a wide variety of industry sectors. Within this role you will providing investment advice to clients on a wide range of issues, directing and advising your own portfolio of clients- made up solely of Local Government Pension Schemes.

Role requirements:

• FFA/FIA or CFA qualified
• A solid understanding of the legislative framework for UK pension schemes
• Experience of working in a similar role within consultancy
• Experience in providing investment advise across Local Government Pension Schemes (ideal but not essential)
