The Role

We are looking for 2 interns to join us in our Actuarial Systems and Actuarial Reporting Teams here at Just.

This is a paid 12 Month Internship and would be a fantastic opportunity to gain some experience in industry for a recent Graduate.

Whilst the responsibilities of the Teams vary, one thing remains constant; we are looking for the brightest and best future Actuaries to come onboard to further develop their underlying abilities and gain exposure across an exciting, customer focused and ambitious FTSE250 business.

You will

• Help to support the delivery of the Group’s actuarial reporting requirements across various metrics (e.g. Solvency II, IFRS)
• Be involved with the production and checking of data and assumptions used within our actuarial modelling systems
• Help with the development, running and testing of those actuarial modelling systems
• Assist with the extraction, checking and analysis of actuarial modelling output.

You are

• A University Graduate with a 2:1 or above in a Quantitative Subject
• A problem solver, with good analysis and resolution skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to analyse, check and manipulate data accordingly and efficiently
• Excellent at both verbal and written communication, with great interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
• An experienced Microsoft Excel user, with knowledge of the more advanced functions within Excel
• Extremely organised, with the ability to make intelligent decisions when faced with competing priorities.
• Aware of the products and services provided by the Group
