Model Development - Life Actuarial - urgent requirement

Leading insurance client requires an actuarial contractor with strong model development skills to support until the end of the year (initially).

The ideal candidate will be available to start in November, with experience in Life (re)insurance model development. Good experience in Prophet, RAFM, AXIS or other actuarial modelling software is required. Knowledge of Financial reporting metrics is desirable.

Oliver James are representing a leading insurance client who requires an actuarial contractor with strong model development skills to support until the end of the year (initially) on a day rate contract.

Location: Remote working (UK is beneficial for equipment)

Start: Immediate (in November)

Duration: To the end of the year (initial)

Day rate: Negotiable (market rate 600-750/day)

Role: You will be supporting with actuarial model development in line with the financial reporting team.

Experience:

• Qualified or part qualified Life Actuary (actuarial experience)
• Demonstrable experience in a Life (re)insurance model development role
• Solid experience with an actuarial modelling software such as Prophet, RAFM, AXIS or other
• Knowledge of Financial reporting metrics is desirable - Solvency II, IFRS, EV
