Balance Sheet Optimisation | Part-Qualified Consultant

Oliver James is working with a globally renowned actuarial consultancy. They are seeking an actuarial analyst for their London based team.

The Role

This team secure balance sheet optimisation projects for insurance firms. They get involved with the pricing, tendering and negotiations of reinsurance transactions. This team have a brilliant reputation amongst insurance and reinsurance firms, and have time to invest in the training of actuarial students.

Minimal travel requirements post-Covid.

The Requirements

- Good knowledge of life insurance products

- Proactive attitude, and a suitable personality for a consultancy environment (whilst the role wouldn't be client facing initially, the opportunity would naturally lead on to working with clients)

- At least 4 exams passed; must be a student actuary with Life insurance experience (from consultancy or re/insurance)

- 1-3 years experience ideally

This role has a CV deadline of the 25th of November; candidates must be able to start within 3 months of offer acceptance.
