Reporting Actuary - projects and production
pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life Insurance. We have been asked to find a qualified Actuary for a London based specialist insurer.
The purpose of the role is to support the head of finance with delivering a process improvement project while maintaining ongoing BAU production. More in depth responsibilities include;
* Monthly/quarterly and yearly solvency 2 reporting
* Production, analysis and commentary of results
* Training, mentoring and up skilling of more junior members of the financial reporting team
* Leadership of ongoing process improvement project designed to deliver faster monthly close and more accurate forecasting.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Actuary with at least 3 years pqe. Previous experience of financial reporting is essential as well as project and communication skills.
