Our client, a major insurer, is seeking a qualified life actuary with a good understanding of solvency metrics, in particular Solvency II, to manage the Solvency Monitoring process for the Group's life insurance companies.

In this key role, you will produce current and projected solvency positions, providing monthly and weekly reports on the current position and proactively managing the inclusion of emerging solvency impacts.

You will also supervise current and future solvency and risk levels against tolerances and risk appetites.

In addition, you will manage the production of Capital MI in an appropriate format for different audiences, collaborating closely with teams across the business to ensure inputs are delivered in a timely fashion.

With good relationship management skills, the successful candidate will possess knowledge of solvency projection roll-forward and estimation techniques.

Excellent report writing and written communication skills also essential.

Please contact us to discuss this vacancy or for an informal discussion regarding your career goals. We are very happy to perform bespoke research on your behalf.
