Research Analyst - Man-Made Risks

HFG have partnered with a UK leading insurer to assist with their search for a new research analyst to join their exposure management team and help with their man-made risk research. This is a fantastic opportunity for a catastrophe analyst with insurance experience to join a team which will offer them a wide range of exposure.

Key responsibilities

Leading the research projects for the man-made classes of business.Validation of third party models, identifying limitations, and developing adjustments as part of continuous improvement.Work closely with underwriters and senior management to understand business needs and cat risk opportunities and building methods to cater for these.Key requirements

Prior Catastrophe Modelling experience >3+ years.Minimum of Master's degree, preferably in the cyber, political, science, engineering or maths fields.Python, SQL, and R programming skills preferable and desired.Experience with AIR, RMS, GIS preferable
