Pricing & Portfolio Management Actuary

An exciting new role has emerged with the Lloyd's arm of an international (re)insurance business. 

Working closely with the chief actuary, this position will perform crucial pricing work and add to pricing and underwriting strategy of the organisation.  

With duties spanning pricing model development, portfolio analysis across several classes and project work such as system transformation and development of MI reporting; this is a varied role which will challenge both technical and softer skills.  There is a need to develop strong relationships across the organisation, particularly with underwriters to provide accurate and meaningful guidance. 

There is also the need to liaise with other actuarial, cat modelling and validation, to ensure they have the data required to perform their roles and vice versa.  

This role would represent the next step for an experienced pricing candidate who would like more individual responsibility and who wants to have their opinion heard.  You will use your prior pricing experience, ideally from within the Lloyd's/London market, to help maintain or increase the profitability of the business. Due the the profile that this role will provide within the organisation, there is career development in both actuarial and non-actuarial disciplines for the successful applicant.
